They have a shuttle bus that makes two trips: hotel-airport and hotel-center of the town (quite fare away from the hotel). It's very well organize. In front of the hotel there is Applebees restaurant. Very authentic restaurant, freindly service and not extremely expensive.
Value for money. It's expensive taking into account the facilities. But it's also the problem in Alaska. Everything is so expensive and the quality of the services and facilities that are giving to you are extremely poor. But I wouldn't pay more for any other hotel in the city because we visited the ones that are well reconized and they are not in the standars that you exepect for a 4 or 5 stars hotel.

Fairly comfortable, free parking, free internet, and fair choices for free breakfast...
My shower was only warm at most, no hot water??? My credit card was charged an extra $45.47 above the total quoted price including taxes... no reason given. Haven't had a chance to contact the hotel, yet.

The free shuttle to/from downtown and to/from the airport were amazing! The staff was very helpful with letting us keep our bags at the hotel after checking out, as we had a late flight. The rooms were very spacious and everything was comfortable. There was a little kitchenette that would have made an extended stay very comfortable. Excellent value for the money - had some of the best prices around.
We got to breakfast 5 minutes before it shut down thinking there might be a little something left, but everything was gone. (Mostly our fault, but we still had 5 minutes!) And as with other Hampton Inns, the central breakfast room means you'll be woken up early if your room is nearby (ours was right next to breakfast and the elevators). Ask for one further from the lobby.

Breakfast pretty nice in that it had okay selection and offered hot items. Avoid the turkey sausage, nasty. Free parking, decent location (but nothing special). Left my iPad in the room and came back to the hotel 15 min after I checked out. A staff member helped me go to the room and find it -- had I not physically gone back to the hotel, I probably wouldn't have gotten it back. Didn't use the pool, so can't comment on that. Check in and check out was fast. Never ran out of hot water, even when filling up my Jacuzzi tub three times during my stay. Late check-out at 12:00 noon appreciated. Note though that on weekends the breakfast is only served 6-10 am.
They put me in a Jacuzzi suite but the three Jacuzzi knob/buttons were all broken -- one was completely missing, couldn't even operate the Jacuzzi, only fill it up like a regular bathtub. That room also had coffee drips on the counter, so it wasn't cleaned, and had hair on the toilet and in the regular tub in the bathroom, eww. The curtains didn't close all the way either. I left the room and complained to staff, and she immediately moved me to a different Jacuzzi suite a few doors down the hallway. Now, be aware that the the walls are VERY thin -- heard kids (there was a team of teen hockey players) running up and down the halls until 11 pm. And I never got to sleep in, so much noise from rooms beside and above me and the hallway. So, didn't get to sleep in past 7:30am on Sunday morning. Not cool.

Just a solid selection for a brief pause in Anchorage with excellent value for money. The free mini-bus service to town worked well for our sightseeing. Make sure to check your room setup upon arrival.

We enjoyed exploring the local area, especially the vintage aircraft museum, fascinating for the whole family. The flowers outside the hotel added a nice touch to our stay.
In my wife's opinion, the breakfast options were quite limited for families with children.
